AS&H in co-operation with Clifford Chance advises King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) on the sale of a 53-floor office tower to Riyad Bank

Abuhimed Alsheikh Alhagbani Law Firm (AS&H) in co-operation with Clifford Chance advised King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), one of the largest real estate projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in the region, on their successful sale of a 53-floor tower to Riyad Bank to become Riyad Bank’s headquarters.

The team was led by partners Majid Al-Sheikh and Daniel Royle with support from Senior Associate Sultan Al-Fayez and Associates Abdulrahman Al-Rashed and Mohammed Al-Esheikh in Riyadh.

Tariq Imam, Inaamul Laher and Richard Cameron from the Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices of Clifford Chance also provided specialist support on this matter.

Besides advising on the successful sale of the tower, AS&H in cooperation with Clifford Chance have advised on a number of headline deals in the Kingdom, including PIF’s acquisition and remobilization of the King Abdullah Financial District, SABB on its merger with Al-Awwal Bank and NCB on its merger with Samba Financial Group, to name a few.
