Georges is a senior associate in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. He has extensive experience in litigation and international arbitration, with a particular focus on the Middle East.
Georges advises on a variety of commercial disputes and represents clients before parajudicial committees, courts, and arbitral tribunals. Prior to joining AS&H Clifford Chance, Georges has trained and worked at leading firms in Beirut, Paris, and Brussels.
Relevant experience includes advising:
- Acted for a global automotive company (defendant) in an antitrust dispute initiated by the competition authority
- Acted for an airport management services company in USD 230 million expert determination proceedings
- Advised a Saudi government body on arbitration matters
- Advised a high-net-worth individual on the enforcement of multi-million-dollar promissory notes
- Advised a Saudi government authority on the termination of a construction contract with a contractor
- Advised an employer on its risk position against a contractor in relation to a USD 150 million construction project
- Advised a major retail company on the termination of its contracts with a franchisee
